Law Enforcement Policy
Last Updated: May 01, 2026
ShaadiCouple.com (operated by ShaadiCouple LLC]) is committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and security of our community. These guidelines are intended for use by law enforcement, government agencies, and legal authorities ("Requesting Authorities") seeking to obtain user account records or data from ShaadiCouple.com.
We review all legal requests carefully and in accordance with applicable laws, including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, and our Privacy Policy.
- Requirement of Valid Legal Process
ShaadiCouple.com respects user privacy and will not release non-public user data to law enforcement without a valid, official legal process that compels disclosure.
- Basic Subscriber Records: To obtain basic subscriber information (such as name, account registration date, email address, IP address logs, and basic payment metadata), Requesting Authorities must provide a valid administrative subpoena, grand jury subpoena, or a court order.
- Account Content: To obtain private communications, private photos, or other stored content data, Requesting Authorities must provide a valid search warrant issued under the procedures described in the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure (or equivalent state warrant procedures) based upon a showing of probable cause.
- Request Formatting Requirements
To process any formal legal request efficiently, the submission must be written in English on official agency letterhead, signed by the requesting officer, and contain the following details:
- Identifier Information: The specific unique identifiers associated with the account in question (e.g., registered email address, profile URL, or mobile phone number). We cannot locate accounts based solely on common names.
- Scope of Request: A narrow, clear description of the specific data requested and the relevant timeframe. Broad or open-ended requests will be challenged.
- Authority Details: The name of the law enforcement agency, the name and badge/ID number of the investigating agent, a direct telephone number, and an official government email address (e.g., .gov or .mil).
- Emergency Requests
We evaluate emergency disclosure requests on a case-by-case basis in accordance with law.
If Requesting Authorities believe there is an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to any person (such as human trafficking, immediate physical harm, or missing persons), they may submit an expedited Emergency Disclosure Request.
- Process: Emergency requests must explicitly describe the nature of the emergency and why immediate disclosure of data is necessary to prevent the harm.
- Submission: Emergency requests should be marked clearly in the email subject line as "EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST" for prioritized handling.
- Data Preservation Requests
In accordance with, law enforcement agencies may request that ShaadiCouple.com temporarily preserve existing account records pending the issuance of formal legal process.
Upon receipt of a signed preservation request on official letterhead, we will preserve available account records for ninety (90) days. This period can be extended for an additional 90 days upon a formal request for extension.
- User Notification Policy
Unless explicitly prohibited by a valid non-disclosure order issued by a court, or in cases involving emergency situations, it is ShaadiCouple.com’s policy to notify our users when we receive legal processes requesting their data, allowing them the opportunity to seek legal protection.
